Sopheak and F were born and grew up in Buddhist families but the Lord saved them and changed them. And following them, not long after, were the members of their families who also became followers of Jesus. Sopheak and F have three children - Bethanee, Emmanuel, and Benjamin. Since F is Thai and Sopheak is Khmer/Cambodian, their three kids are growing up trilingual: Thai, Khmer and English.
In Cambodia, only 2% of their population is Christian, therefore about 16.9 million Cambodians have not heard the Gospel or believe in Christ. Both Sopheak and F believe that the gifts they have from the Lord can lead many to believe in Jesus Christ.
Sopheak has a talent in carpentry, arts and computer science. He uses his skill in the arts and graphic design to help many of those who live with HIV/AIDS, those who are orphans, and those living in poverty to find dignity by earning income for themselves and taking care of their families. F is gifted in mentoring and sharing the Gospel, and she served at churches In Thailand for a few years before God called her to Cambodia. F is currently studying in a counselling program; sheis known by many as trustworthy and someone to whom they can safely open their heart to. F also has had experience with young disciples of Christ since she was in college, and was one of many key students that reached out and took seriously the role of being a good caretake for Jesus' sheep. Through their lives, both Sopheak and F have touched many lives and positively impacted those around them, in Cambodia, Thailand and beyond
